Hi! You've stumbled across the website of Truman State University's Freethinker's Society.

We're a discussion/debate group that meets once a week to hash out different political, cultural, and religious hot topics. In our current form, we've been on campus for 3 years. The best thing about our group is that (although the discussions can get intense) it's all in good fun and after the meeting ends the arguments are dropped. In fact, most of us are good friends outside the club.

If you're interested in seeing the club in action (and hopefully participating) we encourage you to come by one of our meetings. We're a very loose club-some people come every week, some once a month. Our regular discussion meetings are Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. in Baldwin 346. The meetings can take half an hour or they can take four hours. Come whenever you can (even if you're late) and leave whenever you want.

Executive board meetings are on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. in the Ryle Lounge. Everyone is welcome. While you're here you should check out our forum, links, and upcoming events. If you have questions you can e-mail any Freethinker's board member or the group account at thinkers@truman.edu.
